OVERHAUL OF BOEING 747-400

First Boeing 747-400 was built in 1989. Its weight  is 180 tons and its price can reach 200 millions. The plane can fly for 25 years and its longest trip on the plane is 14 hours and the cabin crew can rest for 3 to 4 hours. They have two black boxes, the black box can withstand 1000ºC for 30 minutes in a row.

All planes need one test every year and one overhaul every 6 years. In the overhaul there are 200 workers and about 30000 working hours.They have to check 6 million components and fix 20000 pieces in a set of 12000 jobs.

All the 747 hold 4 engines that each one cost 8 millions and give a total horse power of 120000hp.
And one landing gear costs 300000 dollars and its weight is of two double-deck bus.

It's very interesting the work that takes the overhaul of an airplane of these dimensions, and the satisfaction of the workers when they see the airplane leave.

MY WEEK #13

This week I returned to do calisthenics, this is based to do physical  exercise with your own body. The last year I started this sport with my class partner Vicente, but before summer we left to go. This year I want to take routine again, but my partner don't want to come back with me, fortunately I have more friends that they could go with me. The problem is that I am playing football, and now I will have training of calisthenics Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and trainning of football Tuesday and Thursday and match ob Sunday. I only will we able to rest one day at the week. The past weekend was "Sant Sebastià" and every year we make a barbacue, but this year was impossible because it was bad weather. MY INVENTION

Have you ever tried to mesure something with your hands or fingers? I am sure that yes. But this is always a bad mesure and never  works. For this reason I have invented "Mesufingers" Whats is "Mesufingers" and how do it works? I will explain you. C onsists of two caps with an interior in silicone to adapt to the different sizes of fingers that measure the distance between both caps by issuing signals that determine the distance between both fingers, calculating the distance from the delay in the arrival of the signal from one cap to the other. The measured distance is shown through LED. It isn't it to measure great distances, but it can be extremely useful for everyday tasks. You can use it in the same hand or use it hand to hand. T his would replace the tape metric and this would do it in a simpler and more effective way. My invention would be sould between 30-50 euros
