On January  13, 1982 the Boeing 737-222 of Air Florida airline fell at the 14th Street Bridge (killing 5 passers) over the Potomac river, in the accident 74 passengers and crew died, only 5 survivors . The fligtht route was Washington-Fort Lauderdale, with stopover at the aerport of Tampa, Florida.

That day was so cold, and the snow was falling on the wingne, when this happens we need spray antifreeze. And one of the cause of the accident didn't have enough antifreeze in the mixture. Ice was formed on the wing and this reduce the lift of the aircraft.

The pilots didn't have enough experience with 737. When they saw the ice, they activated the reverse to try to remove the ice faster. But they froze the thrust sensor and this didn't indicate the correct thrust.

And the last cause was that the pilots didn't active the anti-ice system,with this system "on" the thrust sensors probably wouldn't have frozen.

MY INVENTION

Have you ever tried to mesure something with your hands or fingers? I am sure that yes. But this is always a bad mesure and never  works. For this reason I have invented "Mesufingers" Whats is "Mesufingers" and how do it works? I will explain you. C onsists of two caps with an interior in silicone to adapt to the different sizes of fingers that measure the distance between both caps by issuing signals that determine the distance between both fingers, calculating the distance from the delay in the arrival of the signal from one cap to the other. The measured distance is shown through LED. It isn't it to measure great distances, but it can be extremely useful for everyday tasks. You can use it in the same hand or use it hand to hand. T his would replace the tape metric and this would do it in a simpler and more effective way. My invention would be sould between 30-50 euros

MY WEEK #13

This week I returned to do calisthenics, this is based to do physical  exercise with your own body. The last year I started this sport with my class partner Vicente, but before summer we left to go. This year I want to take routine again, but my partner don't want to come back with me, fortunately I have more friends that they could go with me. The problem is that I am playing football, and now I will have training of calisthenics Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and trainning of football Tuesday and Thursday and match ob Sunday.
