AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

Have you ever tried to mesure something with your hands or fingers? I am sure that yes. But this is always a bad mesure and never  works. For this reason I have invented "Mesufingers" Whats is "Mesufingers" and how do it works? I will explain you. C onsists of two caps with an interior in silicone to adapt to the different sizes of fingers that measure the distance between both caps by issuing signals that determine the distance between both fingers, calculating the distance from the delay in the arrival of the signal from one cap to the other. The measured distance is shown through LED. It isn't it to measure great distances, but it can be extremely useful for everyday tasks. You can use it in the same hand or use it hand to hand. T his would replace the tape metric and this would do it in a simpler and more effective way. My invention would be sould between 30-50 euros

Aircraft maintenance work includes inspection and repair of aircraft structures, coatings, and systems in hangars and on the air field. Good training and work practices ensure aircraft and worker safety. If you do the practices of the correct form with the appropiate tool and with the corresponding precaution, you are securing a good job without dangers. When you work outsite between flights, the most important thing that you need to know it's the danger areas, these are the areas where the power of the engine can hurt you or something worse. When the aircraft is in idle power the safety distance it's less. Another important thing could be the noise area, in idle power this is 20 meters around the engine and in the take off power 50 meters. Inside this distances you need use ear protections to prevent ear damage by noise. When you are working inside the aircraft, you have to secure that you don't forget anything inside, this could endanger the aicraft and more

In the last English class, we leraned the importance of the order of words in technical English. This consist to use a chain of words like a one compund word. So that it has logic and meaning we need have a certain order. The basic principle is that ine word is the component, and this have to go in the last place, the other words are qualifiers, these give specific information of the component, like locatation, color, function, assembly... Examples can be: door lever , fuel tanks , upper deck ... You must be careful woth your interpretation, this must be coherent, and you need to analyse the context to identificate the component. Is not the same a brake disk  (a roture in the disk) and disk brake (a brake the type disk). The "easiest" part is identificate the component, I put it in quotes because it's not really easy, the difficult is determinate wich qualifiers go first when thera are more than one. The order is marked by location , system , assembly , sub-assemply

The discrimitation can be seen in a lot of forms, sexual, gender, racial, social, religious... Even tough nowadays these discriminations have been reduced along the history, there is still a long part to fight. In English classes, we have seen two films about discrimination, the first film was "Hidden figures", this film tell the lives of three balck womens working in the NASA as human calculators. In this film we can see two type of discrimination, the gender and racial, we can see the difficults than have to pass this three womans just for them condicions. The time is 1960 and the womans couldn't go to the university and in the NASA they can only work as calculators, in the case of being black, or as secretary being white. In the film show us the efforts and the difficults that one women have to pass for work with men and that they listen to her. And we can see how another women have to win a judgment to be able to enter to the university to study the engineering that
